Your brand; the six “P’s

It is impossible to create your brand without the six “P’s.” The same applies to those who are using only face and name self branding. They are Passion, Position, Packaging, Promoting, Profit, and understanding how to be prosperous.

Passion

A passion based business will always do better than one where the owners are not. The reason for this is when you are “selling;” passion plays a large role. People who have a passion will keep learning, and passion will help a person through the rough times.

Position

This covers more than positioning yourself in front of your target audience. You have to position yourself with like-minded people who are ahead of you. Those are the people who are going to give you a boost as you go. Some may help financially however most will be the ones who give you a pat on the back when you do something good.  This is done by building relationships with people you meet both online and off.

Packaging

Packaging deals with the package people will see when they meet you. This is where your talents and the talents of others build your reputation and show your image and identity. Show potential clients what you have to offer.

Last night we saw a Pinterest page which could use some improvement. The page was not branded at all; it was put together in a way where someone who wanted the product knew exactly what to expect, yet the page builder missed the point. People buy from people.

Promoting

This is where we see a lot of marketers missing the point. They are promoting a product first. Using Zig Ziglar as an example of the right way, Zig promoted himself and showed others how to do the same. Brand you first then worry about the product.

Profit

This is the reason you are doing what you do. The only person who can change the amount you are earning is you. If you find you are not doing as well as you should go back to the four above and make changes. If people are not buying from you, you are missing one of the points above.

Prosperity

Smart marketers plan on residual income. They want to work less if at all and still have an income coming in. According to statistics only two percent of internet marketers get this right. Between the stock market and housing market many baby boomers are finding the nest egg they planned on for retirement is no longer there. This makes a residual income important for them. Most don’t want to try to survive on 40% of what they couldn’t survive on before retirement. The best vehicle for a steady or ever increasing income is finding a way to have residual income.

The Six “P’s” will put your brand where it should be

If your brand is based on personal passion you will become good at what you do. Proper positioning will have you working with the people who can be of the most help as well as in front of your audience. How you put your package together will entice readers and buyers. With your package you should be promoting you not your product. If you get this right you will be in profit. When you have you will be well on your way to being prosperous.

Why did we choose branding and marketing?

Most of the people we talk to don’t realize they see brands every day. Something which is regularly brought to our attention is this question “What is internet branding?” A great brand is only visible in the mind’s eye when people are searching for it.  Writers brand to their name and face. Even car manufacturers are jumping on the band wagon.

Live and learn

Passion has to be involved with business. You should enjoy what you do.  No matter what you’re passion others will have the same. Our team uses our individual passions to help others use theirs to earn a living.

Our social cause

Starting in 2010 we have taken in women leaving abusive relationships and homeless women with children. We offer them a hand up, not a hand out. Our business runs on the same basis. Those who order our services are giving us a hand up. You will find no donate buttons on any of our websites.

Value for any company

We enjoy people no longer needing us. The branding part is set up so those we brand can take over all their own marketing and social media. To date we have found no one who supplies our quality for the price. There are still a few who use our proof reading and editing services as well as our graphic department after their brand is created. It is always a personal choice.

Learning by example

Someone from our team is searching daily for what is working today. We don’t copy the entire ideas of others. What we are looking for is what keeps people on a website. Then what entices them to opt in or buy a product.  Our job is to show others how to use what is working or what we believe will to their advantage.

Our take on brand creation

Our website is simple and unique by design. The majority of our company brand information is written. People are searching for information when they find our website. The first thing they see is the information they are searching for. If they find the value they are looking for they will remain. If they don’t our bounce rate increases. Our goal is whatever works for the company we are branding. If they need graphics to put their point across we supply it. Each company and its clients are different. We create what works for them.

Our take on marketing

Every business has an audience which unique to them. One group or another will gravitate towards those who interest them. To succeed you must find this core group and cater to their needs. Your brand should be built to keep them returning as well as increasing your reach..

A young company

We are not fettered by what was. What we are interested in is what is, and in creating what will be. For over a year we have been hearing “what people are doing today isn’t working.” Why then do people follow blindly in the same footsteps?

What is working and how to use this information?

Evergreen means someone searched for information about a subject 100 years ago and will 100 years from now. It can’t go out of style because people will always want information about it. What has changed and will continue to change is the way it is presented. You have to take placement of material on websites into consideration. If something isn’t working or drawing people like it should make changes until it does.

Why did we choose branding and marketing?

This is where the passion is for each of our team. Each is specialized in an area which is involved with both marketing and branding. Each member fits within this area of expertise. It is what we do because it is what we love.
